This workshop is co-hosted by Let's Talk Dogs owned and operated by Dorothy Turley, CPDT. The workshop will be held at the Thurston County Fairgrounds. It will be indoors in the 71' x 32', heated room with a cement floor. Crating will be indoors. The building is handicap accessible. There is plenty of safe parking but no shade.

Bring a comfortable chair (if you wish), something hard to write on, and dress in layers. Participants with dogs need to bring supplies for training and managing their dogs. Full info will be in the registration confirmation.

  • $260 - Two days, register and pay on or before July 7, 2008

  • $295 - Two days, register and pay after July 7, 2008

Auditor (without dog)

  • $180 - Two days, register and pay on or before July 7, 2008

  • $220 - Two days, register and pay after July 7, 2008

  • $90 - One day, register and pay on or before July 7, 2008

  • $110 - One day, register and pay after July 7, 2008

Optional Lunch

  • $8.00 per day - The optional lunch will cater to both vegetarians and meat eaters. 

    • Saturday - Pizza, Salad and Dessert

    • Sunday - Sandwiches, Salad and Dessert

Preregistration ends 5 days before the event - September 1, 2008. Registration at the door may be available for auditors ONLY depending on space. Check back at this page for walk-in registration information after preregistration ends. There will be an additional $10.00 per day charge for walk-in registration if available.

Registration includes: seminar support materials, beverages, morning and afternoon snacks and optional lunch.

Driving Directions:

  • Heading to Lacey on I-5 South: 
    Take Exit 109, turn left onto Martin Way. 
    Take Martin Way to Carpenter Road. Turn right onto Carpenter and follow 
    approximately 3 miles to the fairgrounds. The fairgrounds will be on your left. As 
    you drive into the fairgrounds you can see the Benoschek building ahead on 
    your right just past the cow painted restrooms.

  • Heading to Lacey on I-5 North: 
    Take Exit 109, turn right onto Martin Way. 
    Take Martin to Carpenter Road. Turn right onto Carpenter and follow 
    approximately 3 miles to the fairgrounds. The fairgrounds will be on your left. As you
